About The Awards

The KayCorp Community Impact Awards celebrate and uplift the hardworking micro-organizations making a real difference in Medina County. Our goal is to spotlight small, under-resourced nonprofits that serve vulnerable and marginalized populations, giving them visibility, recognition, and tools to grow their impact.

This fall, five finalists will be selected to showcase their mission at our November Thrive Business Networking event. Attendees will vote for the Grand Prize Winner of a Custom Marketing Package worth $1,000.

Details

  • Registered nonprofit organization
    • Pre or Post 501(c)(3)
    • OR community staple operating for at least 1 year
    • Annual operating budget under $100,000.
    • No federal, state, or large corporate funding exceeding $50,000 annually.
  • Preference will be given to organizations supporting diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI); minority groups; children & youth; violence prevention; addiction/abuse recovery; food/housing insecurity; seniors; and other underserved populations.
  • Must be headquartered in Medina County AND directly serving Medina County.
  • Staff size primarily volunteer-led OR under 10 FTE (full-time equivalent)
  • Religious & Political Organizations Prohibited
  • Must be available for presentation event November 24th, 2025, 5-8pm

  • Voting At The Event:
    • Event attendees receive one voting token to cast for their choice.
  • Winners:
    • Chosen by guest vote
    • Announced at the November 24th Thrive Networking Event by our guest speaker.
